The Department of English is one of the most vibrant and academically active departments of the college. The Department of English was established with the opening of the college by the Himachal Pradesh Government, as per order No. EDN-A-Ka(1)-1/2014 dated January 15, 2014. Since then it is committed to fostering critical thinking, creative expression and linguistic competence among students. The Department is instrumental in cultivating a community of learners who engage critically with literary text, communicate effectively, and contribute meaningfully to society through knowledge, creativity and empathy.
